Preferred School/Course of Intern: Open to Science, Medical, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering disciplines

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for an intern who will be partnering in the Category Medical Affairs for Pain Relief team. In coordination with an assigned mentor, the trainee is accountable for supporting projects and assisting in daily business of the Medical teams, e.g. Claim support, new molecule/format research, workshops, different platforms, workstreams, publications, congress reports, slide decks, as well as the handling of medical information requests. Main role of the trainee in the organization is to gain experience and perspective in varied aspects of Medical Affairs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be required to:

  • Project support of on-going projects and workstreams, details to be determined during onboarding prior to start of the internship based on current business needs and strengths of trainee
  • End to end development journey of claim via- literature search, approval via CCAT and archive
  • Be trained on the platforms/Systems: - OTC Docs, ProMotion etc for preparation, approval and review of Scientific documents
  • Assist in the medical communication for e.g. with HCPs, Scientific Exchange in team meetings or by different channels (F2F, virtual, calls, Mail) and updating/exploring on the existing science on the pain relief molecules
  • Cross-functional team involvement in project.
  • Be trained on the different processes to generate the scientific documents like Claim Support Summaries, Response documents to Health Authorities, Medical information, Molecule based training modules, Class labeling differences, RSDs
  • Understand the process of the benefit risk of a product through boards like CHSLC and evaluate the product’s safety and efficacy

LEARNING OUTCOMES

You will be able to:

  • Obtain high level overview of the medical affairs processes, activity, quality control, and it’s position in the R&D lifecycle
  • Experience in presenting in a multidisciplinary team based on scientific evidence generation
  • Training on Processes and platforms that support develop scientific communication
  • High level scientific and business aspects of pain relief portfolios.

  • Educational background – studying Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Sciences related degree
