We’re looking for a health content specialist to support our engineering efforts and to build out our health records experiences on device. As a member of the team, you'll work with medical professionals, informaticists, designers, and engineers to help innovate in the healthcare space in ways that only Apple can.
Key Qualifications
2+ years of clinical experience
A detailed understanding of medical coding standards (SNOMED-CT, ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, RxNorm)
Familiarity with health data interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
Advanced spreadsheet and data modeling skills
Excellent cross-functional communication skills
Experience developing consumer technology products or using health technology in clinical/research applications
Bonus: Experience with scripting languages for job automation or data analysis work

Education & Experience
- Medical Training (MD / NP / RN or equivalent). US license / practice experience is a plus.
- Undergraduate, graduate, or fellowship training in Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience working in clinical informatics domains such as Clinical Decision Support, EHR implementation, or other related areas)
